About Rick ~ Personal ~ Professional
The son of an Air Force Colonel, Rick has lived all over the country and the world. He and his wife relocated from Santa Barbara to Sandpoint to raise their young family in an outdoor town that offered true small town values. They had researched all of the emerging ski resort towns in the West and chose to make a life in Sandpoint.
Rick has a passion for living life to its fullest with his friends and family. He is an expert snow skier and enjoys all of the lake and mountain activities that North Idaho offers, including mountain biking, boating and kayaking, tennis and golf, and various racing competitions. Together with his wife Mandy, they also are very passionate about dogs and have started a non-profit named after their paralyzed pug, Molly: MollyInspiresFoundation.org. The Foundation was developed to help dogs with special needs and to provide the tools for owners of special needs dogs to help people.
Rick and Mandy put a great deal of thought into their decision to move to Sandpoint. In addition to the personal reasons, Rick felt that this region had all the right ingredients to become a successful resort destination. They have planted roots and chosen to raise their kids here. Rick welcomes the opportunity to introduce you to the North Idaho lifestyle and all that it has to offer.
